Hand-Forged Ginunting | Antiqued Spring Steel Blade | Madre de Cacao Handle & Scabbard
This handcrafted Ginunting follows the traditional Visayan fighting profile—fast, balanced, and built for practical use. The blade is hand-forged from spring steel, offering excellent durability, resilience, and impact absorption. Its antiqued finish showcases natural hammer texture and forging waves, giving the blade a battle-worn, heritage appearance.
Madre de Cacao (Gliricidia) Handle & Scabbard
Both the handle and scabbard are carved from Madre de Cacao, a trusted Filipino hardwood known for its rich reddish-brown color, smooth grain, and excellent carveability. The handle features a traditional Visayan sculpted pommel and an ergonomic flow that locks securely into the hand.
The matching scabbard mirrors the blade’s curvature and includes metal belt-clip hardware for practical carry.
