Forged Karambit — Traditional Sharpened Forged Steel

The Karambit is one of the most iconic blades in Filipino edged-weapon tradition, valued for its compact power, precision, and exceptional control. This forged example emphasizes traditional steel and craftsmanship, offering a clean, functional blade.

Hand-forged using the same methods and quality standards as Top Prado Blades, this Karambit reflects the same forging discipline, heat treatment, and attention to detail that experienced collectors recognize. While it does not bear the blademaster’s mark, the workmanship and materials remain consistent. This blade will not disappoint.

The curved blade is forged from high-quality carbon steel with a natural steel finish, allowing the character of the forge work to remain visible. The spine tapers from the guard, contributing to balance and responsiveness during close-range use.

The handle is carved from Kamagong (Philippine ironwood), a dense, durable hardwood prized for its strength and rich natural color. An ergonomic grip and traditional finger ring allow the blade to lock securely into the hand, providing confident control and retention.

Compact, purposeful, and honest in construction, this Karambit represents a traditional Filipino blade executed to a proven standard of craftsmanship.

Proudly made in the Philippines.

Care Note

This blade is made from high-carbon steel and requires routine care. Wipe the blade clean after handling and apply a light coat of oil to prevent rust. Kamagong wood may be lightly oiled as needed to maintain its finish.

Each blade is handmade. Variations in blade finish, wood grain, and carving are natural and expected.
